Penn United Force and Penn United Crew 2001 Girls Show Well in State Cup Competitions

The Penn United Force and Penn United Crew 2001 Girls participated in both the U17 Girls NCS and Challenge Cup competitions held this spring. The Penn United Force girls finished second in a thrilling 2-1 loss in double overtime against the two-time defending state champs and nationally ranked 1776 Extreme in the NCS finals. The Penn United Crew also had a thrilling final match in which they defeated Penn Legacy in overtime to capture the championship in the Challenge Cup finals. We are truly proud of your accomplishments and look forward to more success in the near future!

Congratulations to the following Penn United Force Lancaster-Lebanon League  and Mid-Penn All-Stars: Trent Ryder, Anderson Velozwong, Joel Afata, Matthew Good, Andrea Dissoma, Conlin Groft, Emma Houck, Madison Delgado, Nyah Combs, and Elle Hallock.  The boys and girls were selected as the best players from their respective schools and the whole county. In addition, Andrea Dissoma was named the MVP of section 1. As a team, the Hempfield boys team made it to the state finals and finished as the second best team in PA. The CV girls and the Lower Dauphin girls advanced to the state semi-finals and finished as the third best teams in PA. We are truly proud of your accomplishments and looking forward to having success during club ball this year.
